Revised Possible Project Proposals and Textual Genres

Possible Project Proposal #1: For my first possible project proposal I was thinking about interviewing the Athletic Director at Frankenstein U. Rachel Egan would be a perfect person to interview, because being an Athletic Director of any Division in college is something I've always wanted to do. Some textual Genres she might write or read could be: 

  • scheduling
  • recruitment pitch
  • sports fictions or non-fictions 
  • courage
  • an underdog story
  • a heart break
  • good sportsmanship. 


Possible Project Proposal #2: For my second possible project proposal, I would like to interview the Manager/Owner of the Road Soda Pub, a sports bar located right around the corner from my house. I think this would be a good opportunity to talk to someone in charge of running their own business, especially a sports bar, as this is also something I've always wanted to do. Some textual Genres he may write or read with being a restaurant/bar owner could be history, scheduling, songs to play, menu, and advertisements. 

 Possible Project Proposal #3 (NEW): As for my last possible project proposal, I would interview a sports agent who runs his own business called Suess Media. Jim Suess goes around to the best basketball players in the Philadelphia area and trains them to get better, and if they get good enough to make it to the NBA he basically becomes their agent. Some textual Genres he may write or read could be what the player's profile, a recruitment pitch for when he meets people, and a to do list.

Basketball Head Coach at Penn State Abington - This job is exactly what I've wanted to do ever since I got into College.
